Type it into the “Add a name” box above the Add to cart button on any product page. Personalisation is free and we can engrave up to 20 characters – a name, a race number, a date or a short message.

If you'd like a proof, add a note at checkout or email us after ordering and we'll send a mock-up of the engraving before it goes on the laser. Otherwise we match the font and placement shown in the product photos. There is a £2.50 charge for this.

The engraved acrylic panel, your chosen LED base (black or wood-effect), a remote control, a USB cable and an instruction leaflet, all in a Lumo Lamps gift box. Batteries for the base are not included – it runs from the USB cable or 3 × AA batteries.

Either by the included USB cable (plug into any USB socket or phone charger) or by 3 × AA batteries. USB gives the brightest light. A remote control is included for changing colours and brightness.

The acrylic panel is around 150mm × 150mm and the base is about 80mm across. It's compact enough for a bedside table but big enough to be the feature of a shelf or desk.

Both bases work the same way with 16 colours, 4 lighting modes, a touch button and a remote. The black base suits gaming rooms and modern décor; the wood-effect base gives a warmer, more natural look for children's bedrooms and living rooms.

We laser-engrave to order in our Lincolnshire workshop and dispatch within 1–3 working days by Royal Mail tracked. UK delivery is normally 2–3 working days after dispatch. Order by 21 December for Christmas delivery.

Yes. International orders go tracked with Royal Mail and typically take 1–2 weeks. Any import duties are the buyer's responsibility.

Because personalised lamps are made just for you, we can't accept change-of-mind returns once they've been engraved. If anything arrives damaged or faulty, or we've made a mistake with the engraving, send us a photo within 14 days and we'll replace it free of charge.

Yes – we design and cut everything ourselves, so custom designs are welcome. Send us a message through the contact page with a photo or description and we'll come back with a quote. We also do bulk and corporate orders.

Every lamp is designed, laser-cut, engraved and packed in our workshop in Coningsby, Lincolnshire.
